I'm Liz Stephens, an Integrative Counsellor offering face to face counselling in Central Milton Keynes and online counselling across the UK.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. You might be feeling anxious, stressed, stuck or simply not quite yourself. Perhaps you're going through a difficult time, struggling with relationships, or finding it hard to understand why you feel the way you do.
You don't need to have all the answers, or even know exactly what's wrong, to come to counselling.
At Your Therapy Place, you'll find a warm, welcoming and confidential space where you can talk openly, explore your feelings and begin to make sense of what's happening in your life.
You don't have to work everything out on your own.
Meet Liz
Finding the right counsellor is a personal decision, and I understand that taking the first step can sometimes feel daunting.
You might be used to putting everyone else first, keeping your feelings to yourself or telling people you're fine when, deep down, things feel different.
Perhaps you've been thinking about counselling for a while, or maybe something has happened recently that's made you realise you could do with some support.
Whatever has brought you here, you're welcome.
My approach is compassionate, down to earth and without judgement. I believe that feeling comfortable with your counsellor is an important part of therapy, so I offer a space where you can be yourself, without pressure to say or do the 'right' thing.
Together, we can explore whatever is troubling you, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
