Your Therapy Place is a counselling and psychotherapy service based in Milton Keynes, offering a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions. Our team of experienced therapists is dedicated to providing professional and compassionate support to help you navigate life's challenges.

HOW THERAPY CAN HELP
Therapy can be a powerful way to understand yourself more deeply and feel more in control of your life. It provides a safe, confidential space to talk openly about whatever you're facing; whether that's anxiety, low mood, grief, stress, relationship issues, or past experiences that still affect you today.
But therapy isn’t only for times of crisis. It can also be a space for personal growth, self-reflection, and learning more about who you are and what matters to you. Many people come to therapy simply to explore their thoughts and feelings more deeply, or to create positive changes in their lives before things feel overwhelming.
Through supportive and honest conversations, therapy can help you make sense of your emotions, recognise unhelpful patterns, and find new ways of responding to challenges. It can also help you build self-esteem, set healthier boundaries, improve communication, and navigate life transitions with more clarity and confidence.
Whether you're feeling stuck, going through something difficult, or just want to get to know yourself better, therapy offers the time and space to reflect, heal, and grow—at your own pace, and in a way that feels right for you.
MY APPROACH
I'm an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that feels right for you.
I believe that no single method works for everyone, so I tailor each session to your individual needs and experiences.
My practice is informed by several key approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Inner Child work, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This allows me to adapt our work together, depending on what feels most helpful and relevant for you.
I’m also a trauma-informed counsellor, which means I work with sensitivity and care, always holding space for how past experiences might be affecting your present. Whether you're feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, grieving, navigating relationship challenges, or healing from trauma — you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and explore what’s going on, at your own pace.

Before we begin, I offer a free 30-minute consultation call. It’s a chance for us to meet, for you to ask any questions, and to get a feel for whether I’m the right counsellor for you. Feeling safe and comfortable is the foundation of good therapy, and I want you to feel supported from the very first step.
I'm a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), working in line with their ethical framework to ensure you’re supported safely and professionally. I offer in-person sessions at my private practice in Milton Keynes, as well as online therapy if you’d prefer to meet remotely.
Above all, I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you — to listen, to understand, and to help you make sense of things in a space that feels calm, respectful, and truly yours. If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I’d love to hear from you.
